Festival Shmestival

A Note to Filmmakers

Every film is different, and so is every festival campaign. My goal is to help filmmakers build a thoughtful, realistic strategy around their film, goals, budget, and timeline—whether that means a single consultation or ongoing campaign support.

The packages listed are structured specifically for short film festival campaigns. For feature films, customized strategy and campaign services are available by consultation.

My process is bespoke, peer-to-peer, and highly hands-on. To ensure each campaign receives the time and attention it requires, I am only able to take on a limited number of projects each quarter.

If you are unsure how much support you need, please use my contact form to schedule a free 15-minute call so we can go over which plan is best suited for your project.

I have intentionally structured the pricing to help reduce costs as a campaign progresses. If you move to a higher-tier plan during the same film’s festival campaign, upgrade benefits are available through a credit toward your next tier or a waived setup fee. Full details are available on the Packages page.

No consultant can guarantee festival acceptance, but good strategy can help you make informed decisions about where your film belongs and where your time and money are best spent. The first thing I always tell filmmakers is, “When it comes to film festival submissions, there is nothing I can do that you can’t do on your own.” The choice to work with someone like me simply comes down to whether you could benefit from guidance and support along the way.

I am a filmmaker first. Through years of navigating festival submissions and campaigns, I’ve gathered the experience that led me to create Festival Shmestival. This service is intended to provide a foundation and framework for positioning your project in the best possible way, while helping you navigate a process that can often feel overwhelming.

I look forward to working with you and helping get your film where it belongs: in front of programmers, in front of audiences, and on the biggest screens possible.
